Do I need a server?
Yes. RQmote drives a rqbit server that you host yourself. To explore the app without one, use the built-in demo mode, right from the first screen.
Where do I get rqbit?
rqbit is free and open-source. Find it and its installation instructions on its GitHub repository.
Does RQmote download onto my iPhone?
No. Everything runs on your server. The app only displays and controls those transfers remotely.
How do my servers sync?
Servers and destinations sync via iCloud. Passwords never travel through iCloud: they stay in the encrypted iCloud Keychain.
How do I add a torrent?
Paste a magnet link, enter a .torrent file URL, or open a .torrent file from Files with “Open in RQmote”.
